Lisa Gonnerman

After graduating with a degree in Transportation Logistics from University of Iowa Lisa Gonnerman began her career in transportation. 20 years later she is now the ATA’s first female chairwoman of the Safety & Security council, very active with the MTA and currently the Vice President of Safety & Security at Transport America. In the last two years she rolled out Transport America’s required “Straight Forward Safety” program that all TA drivers and employees attend quarterly. Lisa continues to be a strong advocate for women and active with local and federal government organizations that are shaping this ever changing industry.
